The IBM Watson team from Astor Place, New York is coming to the Netherlands on September 25th to meet and recruit startups and tech companies for the “Watson Ecosystem Partner Program” during Capital Week in Amsterdam.
What is Watson
In 2011, IBM Watson defeated the best “Jeopardy!” players in the world during a live television show. Watson was able to interpret natural language, evaluate possible answers by considering the context, analyse structured and unstructured data, learn, reason and make decisions using cognitive technologies and machine learning algorithms. Since then, IBM Watson technology is helping businesses of all sizes to tackle challenges in every industry – from retail and eCommerce to healthcare and financial services. Now, the Watson capabilities are available as APIs which can be access by developers via the IBM Bluemix cloud platform. Many entrepreneurs, such as Elemental Path, GenieMD, WayBlazer and Welltok already developed solutions “Powered by Watson” but now Watson is coming to Amsterdam to meet and recruit startups and entrepreneurs for the Watson Ecosystem program in the Netherlands.

We invite you to come and pitch for the IBM Watson team from New York during Capital Week in Amsterdam on the 25th of September. Tell us about your idea and discuss with Watson specialists how cognitive technologies could power your business.
Participants will be asked to deliver a use case that leverages the power of Watson to solve your industry’s toughest challenges. The Watson team will select 10 companies to pitch out of all registrations, afterwards the winner will become the Watson Ecosystem launch partner in The Netherlands and will be invited to participate in the IBM Watson Ecosystem partner program and benefit from help and support from the Watson team to further develop their idea and to make it a reality.
