StartupDelta is delighted with the national budgetary plans for 2017, which show €50 million extra funding for entrepreneurs and startups in Netherlands.

Constantijn van Oranje, special envoy van StartupDelta: "€50m extra voor startups is mooi nieuws. Investeren in ondernemers en innovatieve ondernemingen loont. Natuurlijk kan er altijd nog meer gedaan worden, en daar blijven we ook zeker het gesprek over aangaan met de verschillende ministeries".
StartupDelta is verheugd dat in de Miljoenennota 2017 maatregelen zijn opgenomen die het startups makkelijker maken om te groeien. Er is € 23 miljoen vrijgemaakt voor het verlagen van de inkomstenbelasting voor eigenaren van startups en er is € 27 miljoen beschikbaar vanuit het ministerie van Economische Zaken om samen met investeerders te investeren in veelbelovende startups. Daarnaast komt er extra ruimte voor ondernemers in de WBSO, de aftrekpost voor loonkosten bij innovaties.

StartupDelta Special Envoy Constantijn van Oranje welcomes the measures announced today by the Dutch government to grant additional funds to entrepreneurs and startups with great enthusiasm : “€50 million additional funding for startups is very exciting news. Investing in entrepreneurship and innovation is highly valuable. Of course, more is still to be done, and for this reason we will keep pressing on and keep close contact with all ministries involved."
The measures announced during Prinsjesdag include €23 million for reducing income tax for startup founders. Furthermore, € 27 million has been made available by the Ministry of Economic Affairs to invest in promising startups, jointly with private investors. Finally, The R&D tax credit rate (WBSO) will also be enhanced, providing entrepreneurs with an incentive to invest in research.
