How to unclutter the growing amount of unstructured and everchanging data? The Safety Innovation Competition 2016 (Veiligheid Innovatie Competitie, VIC 2016) tries to answer that question.

The VIC is a nationwide challenge to find new solutions to safety issues. This year the theme will be data visualisation. Startups and SME's are being challenged  to come up with new and original ideas in intelligent data visualisation. The winner gets 200.000 euro to further develop the proposal together with the government.

Want to join? Go to the info session on June 30. This will be held at Auditorium De Yp in The Hague and starts at 12.30 PM. Just send an email to [email protected].

Or apply directly for VIC 2016 at www.tenderned.nl. Applications close on September 5.  On November 22. 2016 the winning idea will be announced on the Innovation Congres (Innovatiecongres Veiligheid en Justitie).
