E-trade mission to Alibaba – 16-17 March Application deadline for startups extended
StartupDelta has joined forces with Alibaba Benelux, Rabobank and a number of Belgian parties to organize the very first E-Trade mission ever. On 16 and 17 March 2017 Dutch and Belgian retailers, brands and startups from the retail sector will head to Hanghzou, China to visit Alibaba Headquarters. Startup Envoy Constantijn van Oranje leads the Dutch delegation.
Through its different platforms, Alibaba reaches over 439 million Chinese consumers every year. The goal of the E-Trade Mission is to introduce Dutch and Belgian retail entrepreneurs to the wide range of commercial opportunities in the Chinese market that Alibaba’s platforms can offer.
During the two-day long mission, participating companies will be able to meet with top management from Alibaba and to visit Alibaba’s Tech campus in Hangzhou. The mission further provides one-on-one meetings with the different Alibaba platforms and, of course, ample opportunity to network with the other participating startups and executives.
