Solar Monkey secured a seed investment of € 200.000 from InnovationQuarter and an unknown angel investor.
Both companies announced this on Thursday evening at incubator YES!Delft. Solar Monkey will use the funding to introduce its solar service on the market.
SolarMonkey, based in Delft, is specialized in forecasting the output of solar power installations through calculation models, and monitoring and analysing the energy output of existing installations. We interviewed founder Jan Pieter Versluijs about his company and product launch in December.
“We deliver high precision output predictions to installation companies, prior to the installation of the solar power system. With our high quality partners we guarantee annual output of consumer installations through our service Zonnegarant”, says Versluijs.
