Mobile ticketing platform Tiqets from Amsterdam is named the fastest-growing Dutch startup of this year by The Next Web and Adyen in their annual Tech5 competition.
For Tiqets, founded in 2014, it has been a successful year already. Earlier this month they received an investment of 4 million dollar to quickly expand to multiple cities worldwide.
In terms of growth, TNW and Adyen judge the startups on their revenue. The business also has to be founded in 2011 or later. According to the organization, Tiqets’ revenue grew with more than 2000 percent in 2015. The complete top 5:

Notable: Sendcloud was also in the Dutch top 5 last year, which means the logistics startup is doing extremely well.
Honorable mentions went out to Scribbr, Syndy (formerly known as SyndicatePlus), Bird Control Group, Snappcar and Owlin – they would’ve made a top 10.
Last year’s Dutch winner Fairphone also won the European award in 2015. The overall winner for this year will be announced during The Next Web Conference 2016 in Amsterdam.
