Grab some coffee and be up to date in no time. Here’s what you need to know about the Dutch startup scene last week:

    News

Last week an exciting new startup came out of stealth: WeMarket. The startup aims to bring the entire global distribution chain of physical goods together in an online B2B marketplace.

Here’s some great insight in applying the lean startup method: startup WP Fit shared their first 10 days taking lean to the extreme.

    Funding & updates

Bundles, one of our startups to watch this year, didn’t get the right amount of crowdfunding – but it got funded instead for 225.000 euro from four investors. The washing machine startup got 300.000 euro in seed funding already, and was looking for another 300k from the crowd.

Parking space sharing startup Mobypark partners with ANWB. The travel and road agency will show nearby parking spots from Mobypark in their app.

Great news for the Dutch scene. The Next Web Conference Europe of 2016 (held in Amsterdam) will not be a 2 day event, but a 5 day event instead. The organization is expecting 20.000 attendees, calling it the “biggest startup festival on the planet”.
