We have an outstanding network of experts, investors and healthcare partners, global innovation hubs, and a world-class, healthcare-compliant technology platform. We connect startups with the expertise they need to break through in the health tech world.” Enterpreneurs that join this HealthWorks program get access to the tools and support they need to develop and validate their business.
Value Equation
“We select startups based on their strategic fit with Philips,” explains Rocco. “When connecting to startups, we are searching for the ‘value equation’. We aim for strategic partnerships based on the idea that together we can achieve a higher goal and tackle some of the biggest and most complex helathcare challenges. A partnership can take on different shapes and forms: for instance, a joint development agreement, co-developing IP, or launching business development initiatives together. This relationship may or may not include a possible seed investment from the Philips Seed Investment Fund.
